The Mid City Townhomes is a 32-uit complex comprising of two and three bedroom units. The project was designed as an ISPUD urban infill project in a resurging part of Baton Rouge. The target market is workforce housing. The project was funded by a stack of private funds and public sources including CDBG funds and other Federal housing subsides and was developed by a nonprofit development entity. The Mid City was designed and certified to meet the energy conservations standards for the Enterprise Green Communities program and used Energy star appliances and other energy efficiency systems throughout. The project meets all fair housing standards. The project enjoys a full occupancy and has served as a tipping point project for the area.
